There are now 2 truths. As a society, we're beginning to separate on foundational principles we all mostly shared together. One side believes an event happened like X while the other group believes it happened completely differently.
Most notable recent example being the LA fires. On one side the "truth" is that climate change caused the fires and for them to spread the way they did. On the other side the truth is that the fires were exacerbated due to corruption and negligence.
Neither side is willing to find common ground anymore. The divide is so wide and ideologies so fervent. I see it reaching a tipping point, where the two can no longer coexist and has to be separated.
A large portion of this I believe is due to virtue signaling, among many other reasons. It is the optics of caring that's more important than genuine caring. They want to appear as though they care about a given topic, while not actually caring enough to do anything that'd benefit what they claim to care about.
This fixation on optics alone makes people hollow. This warps their world view and makes them a perfect blank canvas to paint a set of thoughts from a psyop into their minds.
Call it the "woke mind virus" or whatever else. Beyond the hyperbolic nomenclature, it's a very real threat to modern society if we're unable to recognize when we're being manipulated and multiple "truths" being spread.
