the design choice of riscv isn't to its greatness. The cost of simplicity of RISC-V is result of being more instructions needed / work, and it's kinda fragile to its current state.
Also, there's no special instructions in RISC-V and it's by design. There's some considerations but it's nowhere near. This is really a bad idea when you want to scale this architecture, and the CPU performance likely going to be a huge bottleneck. It's open so there's possibility, but companies aren't really focusing in it so much (because of ARM? and since there's already stable base), so the need is unlikely the most.

Not all that I agree, I still like the idea of open architecture, but the current state of RISC-V giving me uncertainty... to it's maturity.
If you want another open ISA, take a look at POWER ISA. It's a big endian architecture, and really interesting.
