Adventure novel editing note: I've made my peace* with the fact that this edit is not going to leave me with sparkling prose, instead just a bunch of slapped-together chapters in roughly the right order with the right characters in the right settings. Asking for good prose on top of that is out of reach at this stage.

*No I haven't, I hate it, it's terrible, why is writing and editing like this? Who invented this art form? I'd like them to step barefoot on a lego piece.
