Random use case for Apple Vision in a few years: you run a volunteer no-kill animal sanctuary. Irregular workers, but the more animals they can re-home fast the better. Apple added animal face recognition to Photos in iOS 17: assume Apple Vision has it too—your casual staff can now recognize the individual cats and dogs at a glance, bring up their records without a chip reader, and focus on convincing potential adoptees. And $3500 is probably less than a full-time staffer would cost for a month.
