the "importing voters" narrative is too simplistic imo. it ignores the economic realities of aging demographics and over-production of the managerial class. everyone wants a desk job, thus there's not enough excess capital to pay native borns to clean the toilets, sweep the trash, and do the grunt parts of the construction work. importing low-wage laborers makes the working class compete for lower pay. that's the crux of the plan. any votes they may get are a bonus to the managerial class, who tend to vote blue.
