Yes, microplastics are in vegetable as well as animal (and mineral) foods.
I read that more microplastics collect in roots than in aerial parts of plants, which makes sense. I'm trying to find good lists from reliable sources about which plant foods are lowest in microplastics. This is also shaping up to be a big research project.
