Not excusing boomers but coming from the viewpoint of GenZ which has had access to internet (good and bad) there are many more options and ways to obtain data today. Then searching for alternative takes on widely accepted policies of the day was not easy for boomers. Yes they were indoctrinated but those blind spots were there due to the previous generations as well. For example, The silent generation did not question. It took 50 years to begin awakening, thankfully.

Boomers were sitting ducks for food pyramids, vaccines and Fiat games.

It is going to be the fourth turning and the next generation to undo the damage which boomers in many cases unwittingly left behind.
