I disagree that they could have elected anyone else. There was little choice about this. It is pretty hilarious, but we don't deserve this, and we didn't ask for this. At worst, we were manipulated into voting self-destructively, and at best, our vote was thrown away and not counted at all.
...OK some of us asked for this but they are a tiiiiiiiiiiiiny minority.
