I know people prefer to avoid politics in Mastodon. But the changes in American culture and customs to be forced on us is already happening. We must think how are we going to act in the months ahead and be effective. Imagine taking away the lifeline of our seniors receiving social security benefits! Even if you reduce it by 10%, that would be life changing for the worst. A rich nation should take care of its people! Congress is just a puppet right now.
