I also started running again last Saturday after an injured Achilles heel. I completely stopped running (I’ve been running for almost 40 years) for 3-4 months to allow my “heel to heal”🤪. I didn’t see my fellow runners, I suspect because it’s still too hot at the time I decided to venture out. I’ll report on them next time I go out -I’m still taking it easy- which will be an hour earlier (my test-run was successful. 95% of pain… gone!)
