my wife’s family still makes Mormon tea (we call it Brigham tea) from a scraggly bush found in Southern Utah and parts of Nevada. It’s useful as a decongestant for the common cold.
We collect branches from the bush when we’re down at the family ranch near Zion National Park but I haven’t been down there for a while. I did find it outside Reno when I lived there briefly.
