i get it on a cognitive level because capitalism is stupid but emotionally i just can’t accept that anyone could actually refuse to invest in a great train network. quietly travel to any city center at a speed of 200+ kph while getting to look at all of the different environments a country has to offer. it’s just peak transportation.
