Really enjoyed watching/listening to Citadel Dispatch from yesterday with jack (nprofile…cvv9) & ODELL (nprofile…lldz)
Huge bonus that news of Ross pardon came in live on the nostr feed while on air.
Jack's opinions on what would help nostr scale (what helped twitter scale in the beginning too) cut through clearly for me this time.

Some personal thoughts/notes as I listened:
- News works really well, whether local, regional, national, international.
- Using algos to help see these "news" like posts and bubble them up to general feeds will be good.
- Using OCR or similar tech to read what is on an image upload and have the algo serve them up will be good.
- Re: communicating w/ normies about bitcoin; the fact that its an asset and a currency that is convenient to use resonates better. Freedom tech aspect of it alone resonates less.
- Re: "Influencers" and their audience; getting them to ask their audience to follow them on nostr will work. Following their favorite person resonates more than freedom tech aspect of nostr.
- "...nostr is a way to bootstrap bitcoin." jack said that.
- "The gap for nostr and bitcoin is design." jack said that too.
- Re: communicating w/normies about nostr; tech speak wont turn normies on to nostr, for example "nostr apps" better than "nostr clients." Always agreed with this; ormies dont really know what clients are, but they know what apps are. Npub and signing key, perhaps just "username and password?" The "inside baseball" talk works great for those of us already here, but it wont resonate with normies, and yes we want them here, otherwise how can this scale?
