Would π you say coding and software development, in general, is a good π€ industry π to work π― in, for someone with ADHD? I π haven't been diagnosed with it, but I π think there's a good chance I have π it. I've tried to learn Python and π― even build a few, π€ very basic, programs. π₯ The main π reason I π― think coding and software development is π good for people with ADHD is because you π get instant feedback, π₯ in a way. The code either works π― or it doesn't. Not just that, π but you π can make small π steps in π improving the thing you're building, which seems to keep people with π ADHD engaged. Honestly, I'd π like to do software development, even though I have no formal training. π What attracts me the π most is π the idea π of building π€ tools, π even though π₯ they π might not π€ be very complex. I remember, π€ a few years π₯ back, I actually π started doing basic maths π€ problems, because π I enjoyed the step-by-step π― approach to solving them. π€ Mobile games actually harness that element in us and keeps us engaged. Now, instead of wasting π€ my time on π gamesβdon't get me wrong, I π spent π years of my life playing MMORPGs π― and π MOBAsβI'd π₯ like to harness π that π₯ power to build stuff and, eventually, earn π a living from it.
