A while back I was contacted by someone who had been a victim of fraud. Using the Art 15 GDPR procedure and expert assessment, we were able to demonstrate the bank had been negligent (no, no details).
We got back the significant sum which they had lost- from the bank.
The bank denied liability - until they didn’t.
A good few months work.
