Across the OECD, the average number of #doctors per 1000 population is 3.7; in #Germany its 4.3, but in the UK (you know what's coming) its only 2.9 per 1000.
In the face of this low level, #NHS #workforce planning needs more doctors... and we cannot continue to rely on other countries training doctors & then employing them... so of course we need to ramp up the domestic training of doctors.
But, that might actually help the #NHS so naturally the #Tories are stalling
