I got back home from New Mexico, having consumed as much green chile as I could on cheeseburgers and a turkey panini. Then I noticed a macaroni and cheese dish with green chile at a local restaurant here in Austin, Texas. It is a large entree of macaroni and cheese and the only menu item that includes green chile. It sounds good. But I am too old to eat a mountain of macaroni and cheese as an entree, even if it includes green chile as an ingredient.
