The ambivalence of John Swinney and his Scottish Government in response to women and safe single sex spaces is hard to fathom - particularly when the law mandates for the provision of separate toilets and changing rooms for the sexes. So, if Mr Swinney can't see past Nicola Sturgeon's 'Isla Bryson' chatter, maybe he should ask himself if he would want his wife changing in an open locker/ changing room environment free of any privacy with Dr Beth Upton?
Bearing in mind, being a doctor doesn't give any justifiable credence for Upton to be in a woman-only single-sex space in the first place. With the abstraction here, being a simple case of self-identification doesn't add up to an all-out case of full on transitioning. Forcing biological women to become slaves to trans ideology will become the biggest misconception of these times - and nurse Sandie Peggie should be applauded for standing firm.
