And as much as I despise the grocery store sign up because it's just a tracking mechanism...its still free. Grocery store chains manipulate prices and contribute to food waste. Has anyone noticed that 1lb bags of carrots have completely disappeared? And why do I need 2 heads of romaine? Our local elected officials should be addressing these issues but they aren't. It doesn't seem important to most people but these policies do impact the most economically vulnerable.
