I started a long commute many many years ago. I have always listened to the radio, CDs, talk radio, etc because I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to pay attention. As it turns out, I really enjoy audiobooks and have read many books I would never have actually read in physical form. Libraries have them for free through an app…what is better than that?? And, yes, as the previous comment said - a good narrator makes a difference.
