I attended a one-week seminar on "ecological forest management". 17 participants with forest sizes ranging from 0.6 hs to 100 ha, from Schleswig-Holstein to Bavaria. At the end of the day, most of us have similar goals - first and foremost: to preserve the #forest. We also have similar problems... The bad news is that most coniferous trees in Germany will not be able to survive in the long term. But the good news is: our forests are still able to renew themselves (if we let them).
