Imagine: you make a PR on GitHub. A maintainer gives feedback. You get busy with something else so don't get a chance to deal with the feedback. By the time you do get around to it, a stalebot has marked it as stale and closed the PR.

If you push up rebased changes to your branch, the PR won't pull in the changes as the PR is closed. Great.

Stalebots are a passive-aggressive way to waste people's time and dissuade them from contributing. If you don't want contributions, just say so.
