I was chatting a bit with an older lady who was at the #Portland #PeoplesMarch, and she asked me about my tag (which is just my business card 😊), and I mentioned I'm covering the event and getting the word out on #Mastodon.
She said "now I know about 'mastodon' as a big hairy beast…what do you mean by it?"
I said "oh, it's one of the newer social networks"
She was very excited to hear that news, and went over to go tell her friends all about it. 😄
