As I understand it, the left has pledged to drop out in constituencies where RN leads and it came third. So that's not such a problem. I'm much more worried about Macron's party not having made a similar pledge, and rhetoric about trying to block the "extreme left" as well as RN.

But a lot can happen in a week.
