I still can’t believe it. My wife and I are going on a vacation starting today. We‘ve only once left the house for more than a few hours in a decade. We couldn’t find help to care for the animals. Believe me, we’ve tried.

But the stars have aligned. We found this wonderful young woman who is a talented horse trainer with a can-do attitude and a true heart. She has agreed to house + horse + donkey sit for the next 2 weeks.

Two weeks!

I haven’t had a two week vacation in 40 years.
