- played "war pony" with my sister on horseback. Taught the horses to rear up and kick/bite at each other while being ridden
- horse shit fights
- booby trapped the forest with trip wires that would dump shit on people's heads
- climbed trees and howled until the coyotes showed up and howled with me
- taught myself stunt riding. Stood on horseback while the horse galloped
- went swimming in the neighbour's sheep dip (do not recommend)
- even though I was a terrible swimmer, went waaaay out in the Atlantic Ocean to play in the waves
- caught clams, snails, and crabs then boiled them all to eat on beach fires
