last night in a different city I checked out at 10:00 but wanted to visit this record store that didn't open til noon. i was sorry a bit hungover, and i'm smoking outside the store at 11:59 and the guy comes and opens the door. scowls. first thing i did was knock a display over, fixed it. more scowls. but then the more records i piled up in my arm to buy the friendlier he was! by the time i had 350$ of records we were best friends! he gave me a richard kern book AHAHHAHAHAHA
