Same. I noticed a large increase in the number of events lately and I don't think they're all real.

Also are we concerned at all that spammers will simply do the POW? If you're willing to write a script to create loads of pubkeys and send messages with them you're probably also willing to include a few lines to compute some hashes. I could even imagine some evil person farming POW to either give away or sell very cheaply.
