oh, I should do an update, eh? So - huge amounts of pain, still, but I saw a wonderful after hours doctor last night who was able to not only get me sorted with enough pain management to get me through until surgery, (I hope) but also had helpful recommendations about temporarily increasing a current medication, to help with the facial nerve pain. He was so good, if he’s taking new patients I think I might switch to him, since he’s part of the same practice anyway. Mum phoned this morning: the move to their new house was chaotic, brother (G)and SIL, (E) have been incredibly helpful, and whisked Mum and Dad away when the movers came - unfortunately leaving all the electronics plugged in, but never mind! Took Mum until last night to find her phone charger. They are thrilled to be in the new, warmer house (“There are 4 power points in the kitchen corner!”) but can’t find where anything has been packed. Still lots to do at the old place before it is ready for sale.
