Put my new running shoes to the pavement for the first time this morning. They’re incredibly good and they made the run rather enjoyable. No knee pain, no foot cramping, just the right amount of cushioning. Combined with compression socks, I also didn’t get my shin splints popping up.
Only bummer was that I didn’t have enough overnight fuel left in the tank for weightlifting, so I’m going to have to work on my strategy.
