I'm in a big (ish) city in a state that borders Mexico with a governor that was recently having a hissy fit about immigrants (despite being a dem herself 🤷🏼).
Like, what crisis?
The only crisis I'm worried about is the coming water crisis and the crazies who will be renegotiating water rights around here in 2025. The immigrants are doing fine.
Most of the people we know, my kids friends, and their significant others are immigrants.
Thank God we're not in Texas. I don't know what they're smoking over there but it's not good for the brain.
