So Wavlake appears to be geared towards smart phone use only. I often listen to music at my Mac with a DAC Amp and headphones while I type some things out and catch up on the socials/chat to friends. The only app I could find for Mac seems to be for IOS and Ipad only. I downloaded the Ipad version but all the control buttons seem to be chopped off which limits my ability to like songs, skip etc. No biggie, I prefer to use the browser anyway. I wasn't expecting the Ipad verson to work well on a Mac, Ipad apps on a Mac are hit and miss. I logged in no problem via the browser. But when I attempt to like a song or make a comment it tells me I need to log in to do so, despite being logged in. This occurred on Firefox and Brave browser (I don't use Safari) The only other option I can see for Mac use is to become a beta tester which is less than Ideal. I'll keep the app on the phone but it wont get much use being on there. I had fun with it being on my phone listening to independent artists but without proper Nostr login support via a web browser it's a bit of a bummer (liking, commenting creating playlists etc). I don't want to poo poo Wavlake but cross platform compatibility is important to me. It runs well on Linux which I have plugged into my home HIFI, I can't comment on Windoze compatibility as I will never run Billy Gate's OS.
