The NEST acquisition is now being graveyarded. I have two NEST smoke alarms and two NEST thermostats.
The team that built NEST came out of Apple. Tim Cook and Apple should have acquired them back but of course Apple missed that opportunity to get into home automation, like they missed search, AI, AR glasses and self-driving cars. Apple miss everything and Google kill everything.
