npub1sg4rcvkxkp3sx7f0ex8rtdd9ylcdd2fchtfm22fy45h4w02p306qq7xslc (npub1sg4…xslc) I've looked at Hare website a few days ago and it really stroke a chord with me, as I switched a few years ago for my personal projects to C/CGI/HTML/CSS/vanilla JS with minimal dependencies precisely to only use a stack backed by standards and hopefully defeat software rot.
I was left with one question after reading the website: do you guys do anything to encourage multiple implementations to appear? I'm asking since it's often considered the second leg of a successful durable project, with the standard part being the other leg. Obviously, you can't decide there will be third party implementations, but maybe there are ways to incite them? (implementer doc, dedicated mailing lists, clearly announced support for that, etc)
