In an attempt to appease I don't know who, PepsiCo erased a black woman as the emblem of a product line. "Aunt Jemima" became "Pearl Milling Company," even though there is no such company. Another black man was erased as the emblem of Uncle Ben's rice products, becoming "Ben's Original."
GoDaddy used to have a stylized white face as a logo. It's been gone since 2016. Maybe it's relatives in general who are disappearing from brands.
