One of the big arguments in favor of US healthcare has always been that the wait times are short. Not lately. I'm routinely being told 3-6 months for routine visits, and the same to start with a specialist.
Once started with the specialist, things go at a good clip, but 6-9 months have already passed.
That said, last week I chatted up a scheduler and found a cancelled appt only a few days away, and this week I called a newly opened office for an appt. on Thursday.
Feeling a bit proud of it.
