I use whatever struggles I might have gone through or am going through currently as part of my fiction writing, either directly or indirectly. I don't always. It also depends on my mood. I just write what I feel led to write at the moment and in the way I need to write it. I feel guilty when I've exposed someone to my writing when unbeknownst to me, they would have preferred something lighter. I do provide content warnings. It makes me feel alone sometimes. I may give up altogether on groups.
