Ian, I’m looking for some local knowledge about suitable filters to photograph the sun.

What filters are you using for these photos? A 16+ stop ND filter? Mylar? And from where do you get them?

I’m not after sun spots so much, but wanted to capture an eclipse without crisping up my digital camera and the best filter I’ve found so far for sale in Aotearoa is a 10 stop ND filter which seems insufficient?
