I find it weird when parents put a helmet on their kid when they go biking, but fail to put one on their own heads....like...you are modeling to your kid that they don't need helmet anymore when they grow up, and then turn around angry when they refuse to put one on when they hit teen years.
No wonder so many people grow up not wearing proper safety gear and end up crashing and paving the concrete with their brains so often.
