"content": "Gadget mode is not supported over Type A (at least not by standard). Systems with Type A ports that can be forced to gadget mode in a non-standard way are few and far in between. Standard xHCI host controllers do not support gadget mode, you need dedicated gadget hardware.\n\nBut I don't really see where gadget mode fits into any of this? We're talking about normal host mode usage of Type A ports at 10Gbps.",
