I have some similar vibes on all this re: Apple’s current direction.

I enjoy programming in Swift though. I like type safety, and how it can compose together. I like SwiftUI and declarative and reactive programming.

BUT… I crave a more open environment that isn’t enshittifying/locking things down in a way that isn’t necessary.

I kinda feel a bit technologically “homeless” at times, despite being quite comfy inside the walled garden
