Typical inept reporting. The article doesn't say how DOGE got access to confidential personal data or even probe the question. It allows the fake reassurance that it has "read-only" access. I guess I shouldn't worry when a thief has read-only access to my credit card. They can't change it, so I'm safe, right?

It's the DOGE mystery again. People are acting as if it has authority when legally it has none. What's really going on?
