Today while editing audio, I found a new appreciation for the word "the". I left this very small word out of a sentence and thought maybe I could isolate it and plug it in from another section. No such luck. When isolated, it did not sound like "the", however, in the context of each sentence it seemed clear. Isolated, it grabbed onto all the sounds surrounding it as if it was a bridge between words.
