haiku:
childhood flowers,
moved south - peonies do not
grow in florida.
 
not a haiku:
cotton candy balls -
line the side of our old blue house,
cut flowers in a kitchen vase slowly open,
until petals fall -
one by one,
onto the formica countertop.
