I joined a study at Rutgers yesterday investigating the effect on long Covid, if any, of a 15-day dose of paxlovid. I got a lot of blood drawn. I will fill out numerous surveys every week and go back to have more blood drawn periodically during the next several months.

I am hoping that the researchers learn many useful things. I am barely daring to hope that a long course of Paxlovid cures long covid.

I will not find out for a long time whether I’m taking real pills or placebos.
