All my expectations for this movie were blown away. The mixture of science fiction with Korean martial arts actually works! While Alienoid was confusing at first, once I understood what was going on, I was sold!
I'm not going to spoil anything, but this movie was solid gold
I'm shocked -- SHOCKED! -- that Alienoid was a box office bomb. Especially when you consider that the audience reviews on iMDB are pretty good.
That said, I'm glad a sequel was made, which I'm definitely going to see this weekend, because that movie ended on a cliffhanger.
Tubi has Alienoid available for free, and it's definitely worth seeing.
