Now that I have a better understanding of what the hell ActivityPub actually is, I’m starting to feel like an evangelist. The interconnectivity that ActivityPub enables is exactly what Web 2.0 was promising in the 2000s.

I’m thinking bigger than Mastodon instances, or Lemmy, or whatever. I’m thinking things like news sites, blogs, podcasts, places you’d normally subscribe using RSS (If Google Reader still existed).

I think that’s where the internet should head towards.
