Didn't notice it until a random scheduled inspection down the line when it was failing the ops chk for it.
Also heard plenty of word of things like misc tools getting left in panels and such when jets get sent back to Boeing for some repairs. They by all means do not hold the same standards as the shops I've worked with do.
