I know I'm old. And why? Because I'm angry.
Why am I angry? Because someone is making changes that I don't need, and apparently they're only needed for stuff I won't ever be able to afford (better support for Asahi kernels), and not only I have to review this stuff (and I didn't have the energy for that), but it also turns out there was a mistake that we've missed in review.
And of course, the mistake causes the kernel build process to fail at the very end. So I've wasted time building a new kernel just to have it fail. Then I had to extract the image from fricking Docker (what a nightmare) and figure out what's wrong. Then I had to stop the builds on amd64 (luckily, I managed to stop myself from stopping ppc64le and x86 as well — these are not affected), update the patch and start over.
And I know my anger is baseless, stupid and in the end, it's my fault for not reviewing the patch properly, and assuming it was tested in great detail. And I know it would be wrong to shout at the author, even though it would certainly make me feel better.
