i'm considering this a piece of anti-art since that's where i see the most value in it, and it's fairly poor:
- the duct tape is diagonal, perfectly orthogonal to the curve of the banana. this is visually pleasing, so it should not have been done. instead, the tape should have been placed in an awkward and unclear manner
- the tape is silver, so you can see the curve of the banana in the shading and reflection as it wraps round it, adding a pleasing depth cue. black tape would have avoided this
